Just before 8 p.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to a report of a possible injured person in the 3500 block of Mountain Valley Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive female inside a residence, identified as the victim of a fatal stabbing. The male present in the house, later identified as 39-year-old Brandon Tenorio, was taken into custody.
